European Parliament
Did you know that Members of the European Parliament (MEP’S) often enter the political arena representing a national party during election in their home country? However, once inside the Parliament, they align themselves with one of the political groups operating there or remain independent. Candidates for the European Parliament typically run for elections representing one of the parties operating in their country. However, upon entering the Parliament, they join one of the political groups functioning there or remain independent. In the meeting room, Hemicycle, they take seats based on their affiliation with groups rather than their national belonging.
