Back to activities

September 10, 2024

The second transnational meeting of the YOUTH2EU project was held in San Miniato, at the headquarters of Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile. The event brought together partners to discuss the progress made and plan the next activities.

Youth2EU is slowly coming to an end

The day began with a welcome from Carla Sabatini and Simone Pagni, representatives of Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile, who introduced the local context and the foundation’s activities. Subsequently, CEBS provided a detailed overview of the project’s activities, highlighting the goals achieved, the mobilities carried out, and the tasks still to be completed.

Networking break!

In the afternoon, the group had the opportunity to visit Contesto Infanzia and learn about the educational methodologies promoted by this social cooperative. During the visit, we had the chance to deepen our acquaintance with Francesca Bagni, the director of the cooperative. The team began brainstorming ideas for new projects, proposing initiatives that directly involve Contesto Infanzia and existing network partners in the region to make the best use of local experience and expertise.

Tuscany, cypresses, sea

The meeting concluded with an analysis of the next steps to finalize the YOUTH2EU project. In the weekend following the meeting, participants had the chance to explore the beauty of Tuscany on their own, with visits to Bolgheri and other iconic locations. Others preferred to take advantage of the good weather and go to the beach, enjoying time together. It was a perfect way to close the last transnational meeting of the project before its conclusion.
